Wildfire Gypsy Horses is a newly started stud located at Calliope Central Queensland. We are currently breeding Gypsy Sport Horses.
Our current broodmares are Quarter horses, However we are also looking to add purebred Arabians, Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds.
Gypsy Sport horses are ideal for a wide range of disciplines including show jumping, dressage, western pleasure, reining, pony club, trail riding and many more.
In the near future we would like to expand our stud into breeding Purebred Gypsy Cobs and possibly Drum Horses

A bit about us: We are a boutique family stud comprising of Mother (Helen), Father (Robert) and Daughter (Charlene). We have been horse people for most of our lives.
Helen was bought up around her grandfathers Thoroughbreds, where he used to breed and own a stallion in New South Wales, and later bought horses of her own for mustering and pleasure riding.
Robert has always been interested in trail riding, he doesn't ride anymore; However Robert has always had a love for driving and would like to further his interests in this area.
Charlene has been around horses since she was born. When she was younger she attended Pony Club, Trail Riding, Western Pleasure and Halter Classes at the local shows. Charlene spent 2 years at Agricultural College where she learnt a lot about horse breaking and training as part of her course. Over the past 10 years Charlene has been breaking and training her horses for mustering and pleasure riding.
Over the past 15 years we have bred Pinto horses, Quarter Horses and Quarter Horse Crosses. We have always loved the Gypsy Horses, especially for their renown temperament and gorgeous looks. In 2013 we decided to put 3 of our Quarter Horse mares in foal to a Purebred Gypsy Cob.
This was the start of our Gypsy obsession...
